The Anglican Church in North America

The Anglican Church in North America affirms the Jerusalem Declaration (2008), and the Fundamental Declarations of the Constitution state the Church’s clear commitment to the uniqueness of Jesus Christ, the authority of Holy Scripture, and the historic faith of the Church declared in the three Catholic Creeds.

The Church is determined to maintain the doctrine, discipline, and worship of Christ as the Anglican Way has received them.

We are members of the Anglican Diocese of the Living Word which is a diocese of the Anglican Church in North America (ACNA) and a member diocese of Gafcon.

Our Diocese stretches from Maine to Miami and from Tulsa to Long Island.  Headquartered in Manassas, Virginia -- just outside Washington, DC -- we are home to 34 congregations and 88 parochial and non-parochial clergy.

Bishop Julian Mark Dobbs is the Bishop of The Anglican Diocese of the Living Word and has oversight of the clergy and congregations in the diocese. He and his wife Brenda, have made their home in Northern Virginia since 2006.

Global Anglican Future Conference

The Gafcon movement is a global family of authentic Anglicans standing together to retain and restore the Bible to the heart of the Anglican Communion.

Our mission is to guard the unchanging, transforming Gospel of Jesus Christ and to proclaim Him to the world.

We are founded on the Bible, bound together by the Jerusalem Statement and Declaration of 2008, and led by a Primates Council, which represents the majority of the world’s Anglicans.
